Intelligence- Infos about the other civs

    Obviously we are the only teams that went for a strat.resource first...
    I would have expected more teams to take a similar route (like: go for with fishing (just saturn) when coastal, but otherwise go for BW or AH first).

    From the times to research can we guess what they took?
    They're probably banking on Sullla having given all the teams strat resources nearby.

    They haven't researched techs with MP, also not mining, wheel, hunting.
    Kaz start with fish and mining, => agriculture (89) better than myst (74)
    Saturn start with hunt, agri => fish (59, sure)
    SANCTA start with agri, fish => myst, I don't understand, but there is no other tech without MP
    Cava start with fish, mining => agriculture (89) better than myst (74)

    I understand the research-way of all but Sancta.

    SANCTA may be shooting for the Oracle. Memphus (one of three) was the turnplayer for Epsilon in the last game, and he and DaveMcW managed to get the Oracle in about 1360bc. Playing as Qin, so we didn't start with Mysticism. :shifty:

    Are there any 1MP techs? If there are, it could be losing a warrior and completing a tech. Or building a warrior and losing a 3MP unit, if there are any? :crazyeye:

    Team Saturn's score increased to 49 (from 43) this turn.
    So they researched a tech (mining?).

    All together they 've lost 2 MP (not 1) and minimum is 2, also 1 team (Kaz or Cav) with warrior and mining has lost his only warrior.

    saturn has get the tech in this turn, also one increase to 7 MP (4MP for all). I think Saturn has researched wheel (+4MP).

    I didn't log in the game, so this was just what I found out via this thread and civstats.
    Also you have to take into account, that the statistics-screen is "real-time". So it will change if Saturn ends its turn and finishes a tech then. So you (theorethically) can gather lots of intel by logging into the game after each teams turn. (This might also explain your potenial "mistake" earlier.)

    If they researched The Wheel now, they will certainly go for pottery next. They have all pre-req techs (fishing+agriculture and The Wheel). They will get the full 1.4 discount on pottery...

    I think at least 2 teams 've a water res with fishingboat.
    Saturn has pop 2, the other both pop 1.
    If Saturn researched pottery now, they make money also. The question remain, what did Sat build before they researched fishing (6 turns), no worker or settler, no warrior, I think a second scout, why?

    A scout is an excellent choice if you plan to play peacefully:
    The scout can uncover 2x as many tiles as a warrior, and will meet other civs that much faster.

    But it is a mistake to build a scout if the first team they encounter kills it :ninja:
