Leeds University have unveiled a robotic fish who is apparently brilliant at mimickry of behaviour of underwater life.

The replica, a 'three-spined-stickleback' has successfully infiltrated and been accepted by its biological equivalent inhabiting the university's fish tank.

However it is not perfect; despite instigating groups of fish to turn...it became ineffective after half an hour. Yet this may put to death the myth that sticklebacks and many other small fish have memory spans lasting only seconds. :)

EDIT: Just realized there's a 'science and technology' forum. Would be great if this could be moved there, thanks mods!

Possibly a future avatar for when we infiltrate and betray the fish? Finally we will would be able to get to all that plankton!

A robot in a fish tank? I imagine it looked out of plaice.
