Inter Milan football strip 'offends Muslims'

we have plenty of crazy lawyers putting forward ridiculous lawsuits in the west, maybe this is proof that turkey is in fact a western country

oh jeez
i'm sorry, this is gonna sound really bad and is really bad and probably the most ignorant thing i've ever said, but at this point it's just like what DOESNT offend Muslims anymore? the Mohammad cartoon? i understand. still overblown (i still dotn understand why there's huge mass demosntrations of outrage at a stupid drawing and not a word when extremists hold children hostage and blow up buses full of civilians) but understandable. but now, the teddy bear thing and then this? are you kidding me? its like the ppl who put this case forward just woke up today and said "i'm gonna condemn uniforms featuring a cross today and claim its a religious discrimination"
hell, there's little things that offend SOMEONE anyway. if we all looked for every damn thing in the world that might offend us then NOONE WOULD BE ABLE TO DO ANYTHING! and then THAT would offend people because they'd be yelling that everyone's lazy and don't do anything!
come on, now!

I think this lawyer is probably extremely mentally ill

I think he is more concerned with money and caught up in the "lets blame europeans for being anti-muslim in everything they do".

For a second I had no idea what was wrong it. I think they are being very hypocritical when their own flag is purely religious especially say Iraq. I can't believe that the designers had the templars in mind and a desire to provoke/insult Muslims. If it was I think it was lousy attempt.

Oh and on the sudanese bear. I thought some of you might have realized that the sudanese people don't give a dam about the bear and what the lady wants to call it. They're are just interested at grabbing every chance they can at venting their aggression at the west. Frankly I don't blame them and I would be very surprised if they were truly insulted by the act.

At least he's staying within the legal system, no matter how ridiculous it is.

I feel offended every time I see a green crescent - it symbolizes hundreds of years of Muslim aggression against Europe and their racist attitudes towards European people.

Ban it!

They're idiots. Milan should come up with a new dress with Muhammad cartoons printed on it.

I just wonder why an Italian team has decided to use St. George's Cross... :hmm:
St. George's cross is a well known symbol of christianity. Not only England.
BTW. Maybe that guy is offended because St. George lived in Asia Minor when that land was christian and part of the roman empire? Inconvenient truth for him?

What I don't understand is how wearing a uniform similiar to that of a crusader is symbolic of racial superiority over Muslims like the article claims. Last I checked, the Crusades weren't racially motivated.

Many European countries have crosses on their flags. England's is very similar to Templar's cross.

Turkish flag has a symbol of Islam on it. Balkan has suffered forced islamization under Turkish rule (wasn't really so bad, but anyways). So, according to this logic, every Balkan state could sue Turkey because of it's flag?

Sometimes people just sue too much.

I think,no.He is just a Fenerbahçe fan.Fenerbahçe lost the game and after that Fenerbahçe side was not very sure about qualifying to first knockout round.I had read it on newspaper while I was going to school on the ship,I laughed so hard and loud and I was tutored by an old man.The article said that Uefa should decide three points for Fenerbahçe:lol:

But I must say it honestly,as I saw the shirt,I remembered the movie "Kingdom of Heaven":)

It was really so bad, thank you very much! The worst thing that happened to Balcan ever. And I feel offended when I see turkish flag, but I don't run to the courthouse every time I hear something I don't like!

What the Turks did in the Balkans in the name of Islam was on par with anything done during the Crusades. It was a horrible, bloody part of history and saying "It wasn't really so bad" is massive show of ignorance.

*cough*

I thought we were talking about team football not international football, so in that tradition.
