Would anyone here be interested in seeing a player's guide written with some more in-depth strategies or tips? Gamefaqs has nothing and the Bradygames guide lacks nuts and bolts-- like the kind of stuff we might expect from the Civ 2 and Alpha Centauri war colleges.

No, the game isn't easily available digitally. But call to power 2 is on gog so that might be interesting.

It doesn't surprise me since CTP2 removed the Space option and made the government stats even more incomprehensible The first is fun; albeit too easy if one gets set up on the right terrain. I'll have to try a game on tundra or desert, and without Edison's lab
