Interface question

I am not sure this is the right forum to ask this but it is tips
Anyway, I love the new interface expect for one thing, and that I hate! The notices you get about what is happening in the game such as wonders being built etc comes up in very small print, then times out fairly quick. Being that I am over the hill and my eyes are not very good I almost never read the message before they are gone.

Is there anyway to
1)Make the message fonts larger?
2)Keep them from fading out?
3)Scroll back through the messages?

Totally agree this was an odd oversight. Why such a small font? I'd imagine this would be part of the first patch.

Press CTRL+TAB and the event log will appear (just figured this out myself), which lets you scroll thru all events for all of time and it's easier to read.

There's also a button for it at the very top left-hand corner of the screen.
