Shacknews has posted an interview with Dennis Shirk from E3 2010 that seems to have quite a bit of new info, including:

    On unique units:
On the impact of policies on diplomacy:
    On early game races/rushes:
    On multiplayer:
That last one is particularly interesting as it appears to be a clear indication that Firaxis/2K are listening to some fan requests and making changes.

Thanks to forum member mjs0 for posting this summary!

natural wonders like patra and the pyramids? or will it be random wonders where I found the statue of liberty in the ocean in the medieval era?

How are Petra and the Pyramids natural wonders? And besides, Shirk mentions "mysterious crater or volcano" as examples.

I can't believe they considered not adding Hot-Seat play. Hot-Seat is by far the most fun way to play!

I guess someone would of modded it in, but still. I'm glad their adding it. To bad I have to wait a month.

I'm glad they announced Pitboss. That truly is the best way to play civ online (you get best of both worlds - turns go fast if everyone's logged in, but the game persists if some people need to leave early).

Reaally can't wait for hotseat. It's what makes Civs A social experience.
