hello everyone Im viper125 and i have been a very long time player of sid's cilv games i just installed Civ IV. And for the first time I am having a problem when I click on the game to play. After I clicked on the game the opening motion picture of approaching Earth from Deep space(Sid is big on movies) the sound and the film move at a pace of one frame at a time. A very slow process I might add when sitting there watching the whole thing. Finally, as we come to end and then hit the escape button which then takes me to another screen and I click on single player then my screen goes black for a second then returns me to the page from where I started this process. This is a complete installation with no error messages during the whole process. so can anyone tell me what might be wrong and how can I correct it? viper125
