Just tried to open up the regular civ3mod.bic with civ3edit (not the conquests editor) and got this message. Didn't everything automatically get patched to 1.29 when I installed C3C?

After threads here and in Tech Support, I have come to the conclusion that C3C dos *NOT* update your basic Civ3 game to v1.29f.

That is true, you have to manually install 1.29 to Civ3, before you can use Conquests. (You 'could' play conquests without the 1.29 patch, but you'll probably have alot of crashes).

Oh, REALLY! Well, I haven't had any crashes so far, and I did no patching of vanilla civ before I installed C3C.
Actually, all I wanted to do was compare resource levels in vanilla with C3C. I'm having a very hard time getting a hold of anything in some games. If you can't get the stuff to build RR, even thru generous trade, because there just isn't enough to go around, that's not really my idea of fun. I think I will make at least iron and coal more readily available.
