"Invisible" Mod(s) - Installed but not 'In Game'

Apologies in advance, I've tried forum-search (and webwide Google) but haven't been able to find a solution - my apologies if this has been answered before, I'm obviously not searching on the correct keywords.

I have successfully downloaded and installed two mods from the in-game hub, Info Addict and a Luxury Resource Info panel. Both were installed, and worked perfectly well with the game I then started - however, ever since then I can't get anything from either mod either on newly started games, or the save of the game I started immediately after installing.

I've been back and treble checked, both mods are downloaded and shown as installed/enabled - it's simply that neither are 'appearing' in my game anywhere.

I really can't think of a better way to explain it than that.

I'm running the retail DVD install of the game, patched up to date via Steam and with no updates having been applied since the initial installation of said mods.

Any thoughts?

Biggest problem is people trying to run the game through the single player menu instead of the mods menu

Hmm, thanks Sneaks, certainly sounds like it might be that (I'd obviously missed the bit that says to go through the Mods menu every time). Will test that out as soon as I can
