ipconfig lists wireless AP as gateway

I have multiple machines on wire and wireless NIC's that are seeing one or two of 10 total WAP's as the gateway. Another words it's listing the IP addy for the WAP, and not the actual gateway. These are laptops and desktops, all XP (home and pro), with different NIC's. Someimes I can shutdown then reboot and it's back to the correct gateway address, but not always. I also have other mixed computers that don't have this problem. Any ideas? It's hard to put specs here, since there are a variety of machines with this prob.

PS I already searched Google.

One other thing. I have DHCP enabled. I can give static IP addy's and they will work, however, I have limited static addy's, so this would only be a temporary solution.

Sounds like your dhcp address renewal is failing. Use "ipconfig /all" to see when your addresses are due for renewal. You can also sniff packets to see the renewal. You don't mention what your access point is, or why you have ten. Is this your home network? Sounds like you need to simplify to isolate and troubleshoot your problem.
