My mind goes to the fact that we have already seen that missiles and drones have made tanks and planes obsolete in Ukraine. So how do we know that these ships cannot be crippled with swarms of cheap weapons? I think Russia can tell you about losing ships. We are all in a lot of trouble.

That's a premature conclusion. The Ukranian airforce was never particularly strong, and the Russian has underperformed badly.
Weak or bad airforces, lagging technologically (the both do), can be presumed to have become less relevant.

I'm not sure an appeal to whether or not a group of humans are "on our side" matters when you literally just said you care more about consumer prices (i.e. things that affect you personally). What do you care if they are your homies or not? You just said you don't care about them.
If the Red Sea is closed to shipping, that’s good for pretty much nobody, whether they like Americans or not. 39 countries (thanks Perun) were already a part of anti-piracy operations off the coast of Somalia.

Absolutely there is. The Houthis attacking ships in the Red Sea, making shipping more resource-consuming and expensive, is going to affect all of us at least indirectly, and all of us includes people of lesser means. It would not be a stretch in my imagination to think that poorer countries and poorer people aren't going to be able to absorb those costs as easily as you or I could.
And the causal chain ends with the Houthi's actions? So you care about stuff only downstream of that action, and not upstream?
Why not, when those upstream actions lead to these ones that you dislike so much?

So , the fault of Blanchett is then having failed to donate enough . Bruce Willis is like in no need of donating to anyone but would probably be kept in the list to threaten people's legacy and what not and can not appear on TV to support undesirables anyhow . Diaz ? I've noticed in these topics where you begin with a news item but then spill out into this broad anti-Americanism or anti-whatever that I wonder what you're really driving at here.
-That countries who get their shipping attacked have only themselves to blame?
-That maybe everyone should just avoid "Houthi territory" (i.e. whoever they can shoot at) or else risk some Mid East war? The world economy be damned?
I'd like to know what you honestly think was supposed to happen when they attacked ships. As mentioned, there are several nations involved in anti-piracy in the wider Horn of Africa area.
