CSA, why u use spies on me?

Shouldn't the last two army upgrades apply only to Napoleonic Armies?

Yeah, that's what I thought. Otherwise we'd end up with machine gunners with revolvers and using Limey warfare.

GM: Orders close Wednesday 8:00am NZT (Tuesday 21:00 GMT)

All Declarations of War, must be submitted within 24 hours of this last update. Monday 6pm NZT
Sending an invasion after that time, will have dire consequences for the invading army.

1 IC into bribing Colorado

Oh, that's why.

I assume you were trying to grab the Midwest and picked the wrong province. In that case, you're not trying to steal mai land, you just failed. ;)

Pacific Republic of Librulstan
8 IC into Rifle Infantry
4 IC into 2 Armies

EDIT: Ignore for now.

GM: Announcement - How upgrades work !

The Basics - Armies will always cost 2 IC to create regardless of technology.

When you purchase an upgrade for 4 IC, all your armies benefit from this technology. When you purchase a second upgrade for 4 IC, this applies to all your armies as well.

When a new type of army is released it will cost 8 IC to upgrade all your armies to the new technology. This army also includes all the previous upgrades benefits that were available prior. If you have already invested in one of the previous upgrades the cost to upgrade all your armies is 5 IC, and if you have both upgrades then the cost is only 2 IC.

Here is a rough diagram

upgradesv.png

Therefore the cost of upgrading from

Army type 1 to Army type 2 = 8 IC
Army type 1 + Upgrade 1 = 5 IC
Army type 1 + Upgrade 2 = 5 IC
Army type 1 + Upgrade 1 + Upgrade 2 = 2 IC

Making the total cost to move from Army Tech 1 to Army Tech 2 is

8 IC for no upgrades
9 IC for one upgrade
10 IC for both upgrades

So you get the immediate combat benefits of the upgrades to counteract the cost implications

I hope that is clear. PM me if you have any further questions.

Bolivar had heard the news of the possible South American revolutions. Ironic, he thought, that the nation that rebelled against corrupt and merciless warlords was now rebelling against him. President Bolivár would not allow himself to be remembered as a petty warlord. By giving away some of his power, he was in fact cementing himself not only as the founder of his country but as the Father of Democracy. Bolivar moved towards his desk and wrote a letter. He sent it to the largest newspaper in Gran Colombia, El Telegrama Semanal. The news paper printed the letter on the front of the paper. The news shocked the country:

President for Live, his Grace Simon Bolivár, has declared Gran Colombia from now on and forever a true REPUBLIC. Elections are to be held soon and the President will not be running.

Celebrations were held all across Colombia, on the docks old Spanish city of Cartagena, in the Venezuelan cities of Maracaibo and Caracas, in the homes of farmers in Quito, and in the streets and palaces of Bogota. Gran Colombia was now a republic. To commerate this event, businesses opened everywhere. Colombian industry boomed as new factories were built.

Colombian Orders:

All 8 ICs toward new factories in Colombia

So can we get a clarification on this: The effects of upgrades of Napoleonic warfare like Limey Warfare and revolvers carry on to Rifle Infantry? If they DONT then I suggest that anyone that has both upgrades purchased be granted a discount so they only have to pay 4-6 IC instead of the full 8 due to them buying the upgrades in between while others didnt, so they dont have to update their armies so drastically.

If they DO carry over, then can I suggest they only carry over to the immediate level after them? For example, revolvers could carry over to rifle Infantry, but once the next upgrade becomes available, they become obsolete, forcing you to buy the upgrades for either the new level or from Rifle Infantry, or both.

As you can see three posts above you, kiwitt's working on this. Be patient. :)

After only a few years of people reveling in amazement at the incredible telegraph, people have already become afraid of it. In a wire sent from Richmond to St. Louis, advising a group of settlers to move into the Midwest, the message became scrambled and the settlers sent out for Colorodo on accident, only to find a strong Liburistani presence in the area. (My sincerest appologies, Chroxorn)

The addition of New Guinea as a state in 1850 brought the total number of states up to 15. New Guinea was a mostly Liberal area. Ryan Kelly's second term ended in 1852. The Liberal Democratic Party nominated Jack Hurley, Mayor of Port Moresby, and he easily won the 1852 elections.

Hurley wanted to expand the Australian Navy, so he had another fleet built at the Christchurch Shipyards in New Zealand. President Hurley wanted to make Australians the world's best sailors.

Australia

Choose Option 2

10 IC income

2 IC for supplies
4 IC for 2 factories in S Pac Islands
4 IC for another navy

Also, Kiwit/TK, can I put in my orders for the next turn now? Probably I won't be there.

Now that the economy has been taken care of, the focus the King wants is once again turned to the military. Although we no longer have the Duke, nor the Afghan general to help us, the Xi'an generals have learned from their mistakes and now know what to do.

So, the King orders the raising of 6 new armies, the maximum the country can support. To help this massive effort, a draft of the citizens of the realm has been ordered. The last 2 IC will be spent on another factory, just to keep economic growth going.

Well then...

3 IC into Iceland
2 IC into Tartary

How many sea regions per turn can naval units move?
