I've been trying to upload a zip-file, and keep getting the message 'invalid file'.

Are other people experiencing this as well?

I can't even upload files I've uploaded before, and that are available for download right now!

Is this CFC, or is it me? Any suggestions?

Perhaps they want you to use the new File Database, dunno really...

same thing just happened to me, no idea why, I just changed the file extention to .txt and told people to rename and unzip (the whole file upload type restrictions is rather pointless)

are you talking about attachments or the file upload system? I just successfully uploaded a zip file with the latter.

I guess so too, but what if the file is not worthy?

If it's worthy to post on the forum, it's worthy to add to the database. Not everything's a masterpiece - sometimes you just want feedback. The change is just a warehousing interface thing - nothing more, really.

Besides, if you later decide that you don't want it in the "open" like that, you can just delete it.

At the top of each page in the bar with the File Database, Home, User CP, ect links, there is a Quick Links that you can click. A little menu drops down and you can choose Upload File, this acepts zip files and is what I use for things that don't need to go in the File Database like error log files and the like. :)
