Is Conquests Worth Buying?

Preordered it (now, that was a good move, lol) but RL intervened and I was just able to start playing this week. After a few days of playing around with the new civs and some of the Conquests, I started a game for real tonight. Like Turner, I've dropped a level or two and it's still not easy.
C3C "feels" different. A lot of changes like worker speed take a little getting used to. Anxious to get into the later stages of the game to see how it plays out. If the patch fixes corruption and gpt bugs this is gonna be something!

I think it will be better to have competitors of this game.
Firaxis keep wanting us to play the way they want us to, no option, no fun. Most of the fun are treated as exploits and removed...

From the forum, you should realize all major weak points or annoying features introduced since earliest Civ III version still remain unchanged.

The worst part is I have lost hope in the game producer. May be one day we will have another game competitor to come out with something similar but more user friendy.
