The only reason anyone wants to know the identity of the "whistleblower" is so they can slander him. Laura Ingraham used a whole segment insinuating that Vindman is some kind of spy. It was a display that would've made Rachel Maddow proud if they weren't on opposite sides.

Some time ago (I think it was in regards to Warren's various plans for intelligently targeted subsidies) I asked you where you think the state hires people to direct state-run enterprises and make the "intelligent" decisions. Who gets to hold the cash and be courted by people craving it? You didn't respond. They will private sector people with experience in the industry and/or finance: elite, northeastern bankers and corporate board members. Goldman Sachs is the nation's number one supplier. Corporatism is how socialist laws and institutions are implemented in real life, regardless of how far you can stretch the definition of capitalism.I mean it's funny because "the Democrats' corruption" actually just translates to "capitalism" in this post. Can I welcome you to the socialist movement as of this moment?

As long as this is in the news, Biden is being politically collaterally damaged right along with Trump, which of course helps Bernie. So would you say you don't see any gain from that?I think that it is obvious this won't lead to Trump being removed from office. So nothing is to be gained out of this procedure either - and it was always bad that it tied to Biden.

Of course you wouldn't... so stop complaining about it already. Unless your complaints are just a veiled defense of Trump ... in which case... you do you
Biden's still leading Kyr…Biden's dead, m8
Biden's still leading Kyr…
No. Please quote it.Remember your post a few months ago about Kamala being likely to get the nomination?
I hope not, but the polls (facts) are stubbornly disagreeing with you... just sayin'Biden is gone - he won't be nominated.
I think that this part is the core of Sommerswerd's arguments. Just because he hopes that Joe Biden does not win the presidential nomination does not mean that Sommer cannot accept the fact that Biden is currently in the lead.I hope not, but the polls (facts) are stubbornly disagreeing with you... just sayin'
Please note that corporatism refers to a style of government that seeks to formally integrate social and economic interests into the structure of government. Historic examples include the Catholic Church and the more conservative -particularly German- style of European Social Democracy. It is not 'rule by corporations' that you seem to believe it means.Corporatism is how socialist laws and institutions are implemented in real life, regardless of how far you can stretch the definition of capitalism.

Remember that Fezzik says ‘you keep saying that word’. Even when corrected. Everyone makes mistakes, but not everybody insists on them.@Takhisis Eh, that's something I see a lot of people doing. I know it was something I did until someone (probably Traitorfish, Park, or Masada corrected me.)
Apparently Zelensky released the records recently. Hunter was paid 80k a month and over 3 million total while his dad was the VP. Eric Swalwell farted live on MSNBC last night, producing the most solid argument I have heard to date why investigating Democrats' corruption should be illegal.

Also, is Vindman the one who leaked the story to some un-named intelligence official, with the latter being the infamous 'whistle-blower'? If so, again, why all this charade? If so, wouldn't the whistleblower be outed anyway (if he is that intelligence officer), and if not how would they not know who said whistleblower is?
