Is EEE7 considered a difficult challenge?

I did a YouTube video playing EEE7, 9 hours.
Is this considered the most difficult play possible? it is not that hard, but if not the hardest, what is more difficult than that?

I'm pretty sure there are worse starting spots, even on Earth, like if you play with the Babylonians and you have the Mongols, Russians and Greeks around. England on Earth is, however, IIRC, considered to be the hardest one city challenge start, or at least a really hard one.

yeah that that is true. At least you know you don't get the Zulu's hahaha and Mongols are aggressive but if you block them early they only have one city, same for the Greeks, the Russians are a different story. Always make peace with them even if you have to give tech, wipe out Mongols only city with 3 chariots, continue block Greek... build two more cities, you start around a lot of floods that are good... take one Russian city, speak with them and give them all they want, take their next, give all they want again, go for Moscow... the path to victory is yours

Don't forget as well that with world map you have the advantage of knowing the map layout in advance. You could perhaps try spinning up a bunch of emperor games until you get a start with 2 settlers (which normally implies a tricky start position). Also make sure you're using version 474.05 so you have to deal with the red shirted 'very unhappy citizens' when your empire gets big.

If you really want to torture yourself, you could also try a bit of save hacking and have a go at difficulty levels above emperor. Basically all the AI buffs and built in disadvantages for you just keep scaling if you continue to push the difficulty past emperor.

that is a really good one, I think I play on 474.01, 474.05 is more difficult, and yes knowing the World Map and the fact that India actually starts in India makes it a lot easier, even then the English start is brutal!
thanks, all very good ideas, the hacking is maybe the best idea to get it harder, but also I would like to keep it within original, but great idea!
