Never cared for it, don't think I will ever care for X much either. Kinda enjoy the headlines his trolling rule of it makes though!
Musk isn't responsible for SpaceX's achievements, if that helps.I take into account all that SpaceX has achieved I really don't feel right to call the man a fraud

My passion for alternatives to fossil fuels is genuine, and not fraudulent. The only time I've ever heard Musk speak was an interview in which he was brought to tears over prominent astronauts criticisms of SpaceX and his leadership.
I don't think his passion for space exploration is fraudulent, even if his ego is outsized.
I'm happy to concede "helped", in the fiscal sense.
It's always funny to remember how there's a team at Tesla dedicated to keeping him away from the engineers. I wonder if there's a SpaceX equivalent.
I saw one of his trucks on the street today. It was way bigger than I thought it would be. Not very attractive. I think the early models will have some collector value in 25 years.Chechen leader drives gun-mounted Tesla truck, invites Musk to Russia
“I express my sincere gratitude to Elon Musk. This is, of course, the strongest genius of our time and a specialist. A great man,” Ramzan Kadyrov said
Kadyrov invited Musk to Grozny, saying he would be received as “my most dear guest”.
“I don’t think the Russian Foreign Ministry would mind such a trip,” he said.

To be fair, this is definitely not a culture unique to SpaceX. The same tricks would work on a lot of boomer management and people execute variations of them regularly. There was:

ofc this is some rando, but this is also the same person who, upon taking over twitter, required devs print out their code on paper and bring it in for code review so it definitely scans to me.
How can we forget the penis-shaped rockets that Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos had built so that they could compete against one another?if I take into account all that SpaceX has achieved
Always was, the Apartheid Trust Funder just rolled back previous management's bans on the ones that were less clever at hiding their "power level".It's full of anti semites, transphobes and racists now
Pondered it. Lost in thought tonight. So the thing is, you can say that workers, those below, are primarily responsible for the success of almost any human endeavor involving groups with delegation of tasks. My passion for alternatives to fossil fuels is genuine, and not fraudulent.
Does this mean I should be attributed with recognition for advancements in the field?
That is demonstrably untrue. There are as a great video of a supposed "journalist" making this fake propaganda claim and when Elon asks him for an example the propagandist repeatedly failed to do so. Heck, GARM got sued and completely shut down because they knew they were an illegal cartel under U.S. law that was pumping this nonsense propaganda and illegally trying to harm X for political reasons. It's full of anti semites, transphobes and racists now
If this is true, the entities who are being lied to, and presumably believing the lies, are the largest corporations in the world. Do you really believe they are so gullible to be fooled by lies you see through to their financial detriment? The whole reason GARM shut down just two days after getting served with the lawsuit by X and Rumble was an attempt to avoid discovery which would have proved that it was just a political campaign based upon lies.
One thing is for certain, Twitter has been in ruins since Musk took over.
I doubt anyone believed the lies and certainly not the companies in question. I think they did believe that they would be next if they stepped out of line. When you have government officials threatening to harm their businesses if they don't do what they are told executives will often just shut up because they don't want to be the next target. If this is true, the entities who are being lied to, and presumably believing the lies, are the largest corporations in the world. extremely harmful to society to let such a small group have so much leverage over free speech and expression.
If no one believed their "lies" then how did they control ad revenue?I doubt anyone believed the lies and certainly not the companies in question. In any event it is wonderful that a politically motivated censorship cartel which controlled around 98% of online ad revenue was shut down and forced to close its doors. It was obviously anti-competitive, anti-free market, as well as extremely harmful to society to let such a small group have so much leverage over free speech and expression. Not to mention it was grossly illegal under existing U.S. law.
