his age is a double edged sword. He gets to say he has more experience, but he's also more susceptible to dropping dead at any moment. I don't really thing it's prejudice to be afraid that a 72 year old man with a history of cancer might not last 4 years. Mr. Straight talk express has even brought up the issue when discussing about vice presidents and said something to the effect that he has to pick a good one because people are worried about his age.

I would suggest an assignment for everyone who seriously thinks McCain's age should be an issue though. Find politician comments about whether they supported Rabin and Peres. Then see what they may say about McCain.

I'm surprised that you think that it's "okay" to stereotype people like that... I don't think that his out-of-touch ideas, for example, are age-related. They're Republican-related.

My one grandfather just put Mandriva on his new computer (which he built). He's 81. And an Obama supporter. I think he's just awesome.
