Dear Americans

I hope I don’t offend you over this thread, I have nothing against Americans as I have Family and Friends in the States.

After the terrible events of Sept 11th, the first nation to back the States Militarily was the United Kingdom, Bush himself in congress praised Blair as a Friend and The United Kingdom as no greater Friend.

Our Prime Minister went all over the place to get support for President Bushes "War on Terror"......and in return for that help what does Bush do, slap a 30% tariff on steel.

Thanks!!!

He also backed out of the Kyoto agreement which is for the benefit of the Earth.

It says that the United States is looking after its self, and the rest can go to Hell.

Well in the Future he may find that his “Greatest Friend” may not help.

Again this is not a go at the people of the United States, just the Government.

ok, i must resist not to flame... its sooooo hard not to...

Yes the US is looking after itself and its intrests, but then again who isnt? the 30% tariff on steel i havnt heard about so i dont know why its been down. My guess is fighting a 2.5 million dolar a day war the money just dosnt ome out of thin air.

:vomit: :vomit: :vomit:

This obviously belongs to the off-topic forum and will probably be moved as soon as a moderator notices it. Btw, there is a thread about the steel-tariffs there already. You are welcome to join the discussion if you want. :)

This is CIV.

If you are having a war with the Americans, change the name of all of your cities to Kyoto, and the Americans will ignore them.

It's about time, I say! We've been looking after everyone else since WW2!

You can disagree with Bush, and even believe his policies are dangerous without thereby asserting that he is "evil." The word "evil" really has little informative meaning, and I believe Bush's use of the word is wrong, too.

Finally, in the debacle of the last election, Bush should have stood up for the voter, but instead looked out for his own political interests. The U.S. Constitution is devised assuming that this is what will happen, so the Republic is still safe, and worked according to plan.
