Is the Chat Server Down?

I can't join the chat... is the Server down?

did you try using a differen username? maybe nick locked

Couldn't tell you. I've not done this before. Just downloaded mIRC, installed and joined the #civfanatics channel - but there's nothing there!

Once you have installed mIRC, connect to the IRC server at irc.webmaster.com then join the channel #civfanatics. Have fun chatting!

Well, I still don't know what the heck I'm doing....

When I click on chat below I get a little window with nothing in it. Tried mIRC and webmaster.com but can't figure it out.
