Czechs should work to clean out the trash from their streets and for years this ultra secularism has not been working. Only a new catalyst, the return of the soul of the czechs could stop this stupidity.
And yes it is should be a nationalist revolution because it is FOREIGNERS! who are taking advantage of Czech hedonism! Though one that finds common ground in the cATHOLic chruch.

yeah there is alot of troubles in East Europe and having less hedonism is very welcome. Alternatives is neo-nazi's/ultra-nationalist and communist groups, a religious themed anti-hedoism and anti-secularism is a nice middle ground.

I fail to see how being unreligious is connected to hedonism, and by extension what's wrong with hedonism...

Haha alright the country does not matter.
Hedonism makes people unhappy, makes unhappy those who cannot be hedonistic. For example East European hedonism compared to West European hedonism, West Europe can afford its hedonism but east europe cannot, except for a few disgusting people. This disparitiy is why countries should not be exposed to West European hedonism. I say the most obvious example is west european pornographers operating in the east european EU countries Czech Republic and Hungary.
But this is just an anecdote, Czech republic hedonism is no substitute for actual empowerment of the people, ecomical or spiritual, well just general happiness.
So the Pope sends an alternative message, one that goes against the Czech establishment of Secularism and Hedonism and appeals to a create a more happier society.
Oh and unreligious is connected because the unreligious are neither patriotic or religious so all that is left for them is the gaining of material wealth or pleasure (hedonism). This is empty pursuit in the eyes of the Church.

Calling someone a jerk is just a way of expressing disapproval of behavior that one finds inconsiderate, distasteful, or rude. In general using words like jerk and ay-hole tend to add to the erosion of the eloquence of the english language.

Anybody who speaks against birth control and ways to prevent the spread of AIDS is a jerk. It doesn't matter how he speaks - the fact that he spreads such condemnation of common-sense practices that could save millions of lives (over time) does make him a jerk.
Is Dawkins a jerk? He does come across that way sometimes. I haven't listened to much of what he has to say, though.
It's irrelevant whether Darwin is a jerk, because Darwin is dead.

What has patriotism to do with all this? Seriously, Czech national identity is, to a large extent, built upon the resistance to organized religion, especially the Catholic Church.
In any case, patriotism is overrated.

Indeed the gaining of material wealth or pleasure are probably empty pursuits in the eyes of the church. However, what the church thinks is no concern of mine. They don't even have a viable alternative. Spiritual health? If I wanted to gain 'spiritual' health I would sit in a park and possibly read a book; going to church and learning about sinners and singing about how Jesus was apparently quite a nice bloke isn't going to do anything positive for my 'spiritual' health.
Oh, and you can be a patriot as well as being nonreligious. But this is beside the point because:
