Let me say straight up I don't want to pirate the game. But I want to know if I actually want it before we spend any money on it. Is there any demo out or any possible plans for one?
The thing is, vanilla civ3 is so pathetic and lame, compared to the civ 3 RAR mod. How "deep" is civ4?
I've been kind of looking for a comparison of the two on teh forum but didn't see one and I don't have more time to keep looking (afterall, I gotta find out how my baby cow is doing in Harvest Moon, right?
More seriously, we've been painting our big living room and that takes plenty of time.)
If theres no demo, can anyone give me a general impression of civ4? I don't want "Its the best game ever buy it?~!!!?~~~" since that doesn't tell me anything. I want to know what the game is actually like, not your opinion of good or bad.
I also understand there are a number of technical issues. I also don't want to hear about that since it's also a completely different issue.
