Is there a log of what goes on during the turns?

Is there a log of what goes on during the turns? Hopefully it is just a text file that I can view in notepad.

You might want to check out the BUG mod which improves the interface and adds a more in-depth logging system that can be saved to your computer as a txt file. Sian is right, though, that the game comes with an event log (although somewhat limited in scope), available from Control + Tab.

you can also open up the event log by clicking on the button in the top left corner of your screen
