Ok I hope this is right forum for this am about to ask about, if not del it or move it to right forum, thanks.

Is there a mod to increase money ??
Or give me a hint how to make that type of mod for civ4+bts.

The awesome thing about Civ IV is that it's extremely easy to mod. For example, by going into

Program Files/Firaxis Games/Civ IV/Beyond the Sword/Assets/XML/Terrain/CivIVTerrainInfos, I can make grasslands give 9999999 commerce or something similarly insane.


Just search around the .xml files to find what you need.

Maybe someone can test this and tell me if I'm wrong, but I think it's just a matter of changing the third number in the string of numbers to whatever you want that tile to produce (without an improvement). So for example:

DEF_TERRAIN_GRASS 2 0 50 0 0 1 0 0 1 0 0 1 1 1 0 0

Would make the grassland terrain produce 50 commerce without improvements.

I'm not at home and I don't have the actual XML handy, so I'm not 100% positive, but I think that's it.
 
Well depending on whether you want to mod it so that it is constant or whether you are just happy to use a cheat???

If you hold down the 'shift' and 't' button a little screen will pop up and you can chage the amount of money you (or any other player) has, aswell as the current technological age your in, however make sure that in the drop box you only have your leader selected! I once had 'All' selected and everyone was given $999,999,999!!!

Am using python to read the file, and am mod the After world in txt folder.
I try to add one more language - Norwegian.

I think at line 9, <Norwegian>Etter Liv Verden</Norwegian>, is that right ??
And at line 10, < <Norwegian>Kontroll Verden</Norwegian>, is that right too ?? That line I want to have txt only.
With this < all after will only be a txt ??

I have never heard about that before. Does that work in BtS and more importantly does that count against your final score?
