Is there a way to default to the strategic map?

On my low-spec computer, the strategic map allows me to get a decent game in without long turns. But the startup automatically defaults to the world map. Is there anyway to default to the strategic map to save load time?

I originally asked this in the General Civ5 forum, the only advice I got was to ask you modders if it can be done. I didn't see any appropriate commands in config.ini, but I'm hoping you know something I don't.
