Is there any map trading?

I don't see a map trading option in the diplomacy screen.

Is there any way to trade maps or find out about other players' territory without actually visiting it?

Seems a bit strange to leave out doesn't it? But from what I've played (utter noob) I can't seem to find that option either...

It's out. Even satellites wont help.

I like it personally. It makes you have to explore for yourself, and it reduces lag. Late game Civ IV doing a map trade would make the game lag more because then your computer has to draw all the stuff on the map instead of just a plain fog over most of the map.

Would be nice if with satellites you can build your self a GPS national wonder and reveal the whole map.
