Is there any way to reverse global warming?

See, I completely anhihilated an entire continent with nukes and now the global warming seems to be.......problematic. I've tried to clean the place with my workers but I don't see any good results ( I cleaned about half of it. There's still about 20-30 polluted tiles waiting to be cleaned by my slav-I mean, workers, yeah, workers <_<). Is the planet doomed by my fault? o_O;

no way, there are ways to slow it though. plant more forests and build more environmentally friendly buildings such as recycling centres.

In the game, no.

High levels of volcanic activity is supposed to decrease global warming, but the game actually does the opposite buy making all pollution have the same effects.

Well for now just do the best u can to clean it up and prevent it from happening again. Just focus on winning the game now. i never use nukes unless my civ is about to die. I sometimes use them to bomb enemy battleships passing by my city.
