I am an active member at a forum for national socialists, several members decided to swap msns. unfortunatly an immigrant living in sweden picked up my msn. We have had a few msn conversations with eachother. he has figured out my ip adress. Msn security is weak I have played around with it a lot myself. Now he is threatning to come to my house and kill me, is it possible to find a street adress when all you know is the IP?

He'd have to contact your ISP. Depending on how long they keep their logs, they'd be able to tell him who used the IP at that particular time.
Of course, it is very unlikely that they will do that for anybody but a law enforcement agency. Without the ISP's cooperation, he can only locate the general area in which you live.
And it is even more unlikely that this guy really wants to kill you.

I explained my views. he didn't seem that violent. he is a hard core anti racist, AFA member for those who know what AFA is. they are a semi terrorist communist group. Their goal is to destroy all white pride.

Ah, we have Antifa in our town. I don't think you should be weary of your ISP giving out any info, but would take precautions just in case he can find other ways of getting your personal info. Having your email address can unfortunately lead to a wealth of personal information

Um, dude, liberals and conservatives policies are a far cry from those of far right extremists...when you go around spouting that sort of thing you have to know hat you'll attract some unwanted attention. After all to my understanding that was the point of such groups.

It was a hypothetical scenario. And I think that liberals and conservatives can be very vocal about their opinions, as anyone who has a political oppinion is!

It depends who is doing the targeting, doesn't it? As I said, these are militant Authoritarians, who want to target either "liberals" or "conservatives", so they're bound to turn a blind eye to the racial slur, and are probably going to want to blow the brains out of the people who are complaining about the war in Iraq/Afghanistan

Although now that I think about it, it's not so much of a bad idea

Well yes there are people like that from every spectrum and I think this is as pointless as the scenario you describe. If people want to have their opinions let them.

All I'm saying is that, inherently there is a degree of danger that needs to be taken into account when you join any group on an extreme, any vocal one. I'd tell him the same is he was an anarcho-commie-liberal.

I don't support violence against anyone except in self defence, although if I was to be tempted to so indulge it would be against someone espousing a totalitarian racist ideology.
