How Fanatic are you? :mischief:

I thought it would be fun to have our map as background in Windows. It will also make you get more acquainted with the map. ;)

Right now the map is changing too often so I didn't save the original. But with DDPP I have also created a background in which I only change parts of the map that have changed. Very easy to do with Paint Shop Pro. And furthermore, the fact that it is everexpanding is no issue because I only resize at the end. What I attached here is only the end result.

And if you want a background for 1600x1200, I can make one for you next time. ;)

:lol: Nice idea, I think I won't use it though, I'm not the only user on this comp...

I don't know if anyone has even been interested, but I made one for myself. Might as well share it with you. ;)

How do you do these? I mean, you yhave an enormous screen size or what?

Quite a widescreen screen, I see, too. :p

I've replaced the picture of myself (an awesome picture too), with this map.

The picture in post #12 is now on my desktop.

<Off-topic> I always have a really dark or black background. I don't like the standby-mode so my monitor is very often powered-on. If you use a white background you use about 7 times as much electrical-power than with a black background.
When I do leave my PC; I just use the monitor-powerbutton to power off my mon.

Cool, you actually use them. :D

@Ankka: I just make a lot of screenshots and paste them together in an image of 6400x3232. Then I resize it to 1024x517 (and add a white line at the bottom and top of the image, so you know where the poles are).

@Rik (Off-Topic): good thinking! ;)
