Simple Poll. You know the drill.

Which level would you like to play for the ISDG. There may not be AI in the game, so this may not be relevant, but I thought we should poll it none the less. Only the middle of the road levels are listed.

    1. Regent
    2. Monarch
    3. Emperor
    4. Demigod
    5. Diety
    6. ABSTAIN

This is a public poll and will be open for 7 days.

It is relevant anyway. Higher research costs, tougher barbs, fewer content citizens.

    My choice is emperor.

Emperor sounds right to me, too.

    (BTW: what is Diety?!?)

Deity - both multiplayer team games I have played in, we have been able to reach 4 turn research in the late Middle Ages without significant conquest. Make research costs higher.

There will not be AI in the game. Probably barbarians, but no regular civ.

This has been proved to work best. At higher levels higher korruption an higher costs will slow down research. But this effect can be obtained by warmongering, too.
