"There shall be wars, and rumours of wars"
The Catholic Church should team up with FOX News
Islam is violent. Well so are video games as well as any war. So this is just too general of a statement to commit on. Now like someone has pointed out, it seems to me that Muhammad was a sorry role-model especially in spiritual matters.
Muhammad had and army to rise against the political powers of his day... thus Islam
Jesus refused at that time to rise against the political powers (power) but teach men to fish in the pond and not to clean up the pond (world system). Thus more on the individual level... thus Christianity.
Yes, in the old testament God did call the nation Isreal to represent Him yet from the beginning (Moses day) it was clearly shown the Jews couldn't keep the Law thus they were to look for a Messiah... Thus the New Testament = Jesus Christ.
To my knowledge, no.
Aisha's age is a subject of controversy. Hannibal (or Salah ad-Din, can't remember) explained about it somewhere. Basically he says it's a misunderstanding since Arabs often omitted part of a word if the context was clear (eg 16 years old become simply "six")
Good on Jesus, as the Romans would have come down like a ton of bricks on anyone trying to set themselves up as a political force in opposition to Rome. Muhammed had to duke it out in a conflict between factions of roughtly equal strength.
That's a less-holy interpretation of these choices at the starting event if either religion. The Christ goes all otherwordly, since in this world there's Rome. The Prophet otoh realises he's going to have to run the place or everything will fall apart. People are free consider this political side to Islam a flaw if they like I'm sure. Otoh Christians had to invent massively to politisize their religion, due to the Christ not doing so.
Hmm, I suppose it could be interpreted that way. Try this:
There have even been a few Jewish suicide bombers. And, as Bill3000 said, there have been some Christian ones too.
But then, there's a reason why I said:
Well, then you're wrong then. Muslims aren't violent. Muslims are people. They care for their loved ones, they fear people who they perceive want to hurt them. Etc.
We can give you a billion examples of a non-violent Muslim (in that, they're no more violent than anyone else in similar circumstances).
It's Islam that's violent
Now I'm getting a headache.
too much thinking?
but sufis are crazy
Just like the USA today? Before (and some during) the time of Jesus the Jews had many uprisings against Rome. Also I would say at first Muhammad was badly outnumbered.
They are still looking.

Good to see the intellectuals have arrived to clear things up...
So Christians can't play contact sports such as rugby because it contains violence? Sometimes, sadly, violence is necessary to stop evil. I don't see that as Christian hypocrisy myself.
If I strap a bomb to myself and blew myself up it in the name of Kentucky Fried Chicken, does that mean KFC is violent?
You have a total misunderstanding of this. Yes he married a six-year old. But other than a simple wedding ceremony, he treated her like a daughter. No sexual contact, nothing immoral or as you said disturbing and sickening. Learn a little more before talking
Also Islam is not violent. Some people say that because they spread the religion through the sword and blah, blah, blah. The Quran Prohibits aggression and to only fight if they were oppressed.
Muhhammed had to fight the Meccan tribal rulers in order for his Muslim community in Medina to survive.
Marry a child and you're a pedophile. It's simple as that.
I'm sure all pedophiles say things like "I treated her like a daughter."
Separate names with a comma.
