Q_Q so this mod LOOKS epic but i can not play it. I made a custom game duel size continents map. After the loading bar finishes i see the "dune is operating with these mods" window and i still see the loading bar. After about 3 seconds the game crashes. I tried disabling all of the advanced options and all victories not native to civ4 and even "play now". All had the same effect. I re-downloaded and reinstalled. Still no luck. I even tried copying my friends folder because his worked. I'm out of ideas, can anyone help me?

You be usin BTS 3.17 or 3.19? Dune Wars only works with BTS 3.19. You be usin Dune Wars 1.3 or some other version? You be usin python loggin to see any error messages? If so, you be sending, and we be fixin.

OK, you have 3.17. Can you run other downloaded mods successfully? Do you have anything in your customassets directory? Do you get anything from python logging?

Good point. Let me expand koma's somewhat terse comment.

There is a known bug in DW version 1.1. Before loading DW 1.1, load some other mod, any other mod, and make sure you have grids turned off (ctrl-t). Then load DW. This problem does not exist in DW 1.3, but since you only have BTS 3.17 you cannot use DW 1.3 yet.
