Benito Mussolini (by Ekmek)- Charismatic, Expansive (Police State)
Giuseppe Garibaldi (by Ekmek) - Philosophical, Charismatic (Nationhood)

    UU's:
Alpini (Rifleman) - Guerilla I & Guerilla II
Mangusta (Gunship) - Sentry & Ambush

    UB:
    Football Stadium (Colosseum)- +2 :), + 1 :culture:
-Version 2 Football Stadium- (by KrugerPritz)

Changed the Football Stadium by dropping one happiness from 3-2 (to offset charismatic bonus), and adding 1 culture.

More accurate Mussolini (custom xml below, the rest is from Shaka)

I was going to work on mussolini but someone said chuggi had an awesome one in works so I didn't even start.

You did a great job on this civ but I have a compulsive need to see 3D leaderheads with new civs :)

    Nice one, Jimmy!
He started one but had some serious rigging problems so he stopped.

Ok this was the camo used by the Army in Somaliland "Restore Hope" operation and Mozambico Onu expedition. The troops sent were "lagunari" (similar to marines but an army speciality and not of the navy, that uses the San Marco battalion) they were engaged in the "Bridges battle" in Bagdad.
    http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lagunari
    the paratroopers
    http://www.esercito.difesa.it/root/unita_sez/unita_Brig_folgore.asp
    the "alpini"
    http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alpini
and "bersaglieri" (wich distinguish themselves for the plumes on the helmet).
    http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bersaglieri
The operation dress is similar for all of them

Now the new camo is a digital one as other modern forces are using (Usa, German...) But I like the Somaliland-used one.
For the 3d Mussolini there's one in progress by Ekmek

The same camo was used in Iraq (operation Ancient Babylon)... this a photo of a Lagunare (laguna=lagoon - lagunari=lagoonar troops - specialized to defend Venice Lagoon)

    source: http://www.associazionelagunari.it/

The Bridges's battle was in Nassyria not in bagdad

Also the "brigata Sassari" a famous Sardinian infantry brigade
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=duUfDnsOkxk
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k6ATSEP2zGc but in this video You can see also the Lagunari with they caracteristic coat-of-arms red and yellow... after turned for operations in a more camo green and black :) and Col. Moschin special forces, the Carabinieri and the San Marco batalion, the Cavalry with the centauro blindo...

Lagunari in Lebanon with the new digital camo. U.N. mission.

A special honour to the Bersaglieri Fanfara (It's very difficult to run and play music i think) even if we (I was a Lagunare) often joke about their plumes :)
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c0kBETseDmQ

And also Italian special forces Col.Moschin (Army paratroop incursors) and ComSubIn (commando subacqueo incursori - Navy commando underwater incursors..."? incursion-raid ?")

ok good start with your skins :goodjob:

i'm thinking that your marine_128 skin could be used for Lagunari, which will replace the marine (amphibious promotion)

Although modern alpini wear camo, the alpini replace the rifleman, which is an early gunpowder unit. many of the alpini pics around WWI-WWII they have solid green, so im hesitant on changing the alpini to camo. any others...infantry...?

    - thx KrugerPritz!!!
