AC Milan believes that the C.A.F decision is taken from an extraordinary injustice and merits without doubt integral reform. The text of the decision will hardly be made available, in the certainty that the provision will become radically modified in the appeal court, with the acknowledgment of the absolute correctness of the acts of the club.

MILAN July 14, 2006 "

I wish at least they remove the -15 from next season, I can't ask not to be punished at all but I think 44 points is enough, Milan didn't have almost any fault.

Rumors say Buffon is moving to Milan but the really good deal would be Toni, although Inter seems more likely to sign him. I don't really expect many players staying in their teams, some may but just the one who really love the club.

I guess the 3 extra spots left by Serie A, plus the usual 4?

As far as I have understood what will happen is that the 3 teams that should have been relegated (Messina, Treviso and Lecce) will stay up and normal clasification from Serie B to A will occur, I think it was Mantova, Atalanta and Catania who will play in Serie A next year.

cannavaro has been caught on abramovich's yacht a few days ago. i sense an invincible defence for chelsea this year...

I just read something about why Milan was punished and I am outraged. I suppose Italians here knew already but turns out the fiscal in charge of the investigations was someone named Borelli, who is a declared enemy of Berlusconi. Borelli tried 68 times to get Berlusconi into prision and falied the 68 times. Now what a better chance to get back at Berlusconi than now in an investigations where proofs aren't what lead to sentences. No wonder Galliani talks of "absolute injustice". What did Milan do aside of asking for international linesmen after the Siena match (if anyone remenbers the 2-1 Milan defeat) with some outrageous errors from the linesmen, that match ended up costing the tittle (Well, kind of) At least now I expect the Federal Court to have to decency and do something.

Even with the -44 points Milan is playing UEFA Cup(lot less difficult to win, lot less prestigious) because the fiscals were very dumb and forgot Empoli don't have a EUFA License and didn't request one, so Milan will take it's place. So even if I shouldn't I am not sure if I rather play in the Champions League or the EUFA Cup (of course the CL gives tons of Money more but I want Milan to win an international cup for sure, besides Berlusconi is loaded with money and is expected to use some on Milan this year) Sure Milan have chances of winning the Champions League but is quite more difficult. What do you think?

You sound very biased. All four clubs have issued defiant statements moaning about how it was unfair and it is not clear whether Milan will get that last UEFA cup place since it is an extraordinary circumstance and Empoli could not have been expected to prepare for it.

Of course I sound biased, I can't help it. Well you can't expect Juve to moan, the punishment should have been harder. Fiore and Lazio are in al their right to complain, 90% of the fault was Juve's and they got a very similar punishment to their.

In similar circustances, teams have stepped up to take up the place left by a team not able to participate in some competitions. If the fiscal didn't notice it, it was not Milan fault.

Juventus in Serie B.. I wanna cry..out of joy of course ;)

Sheva, nobody (besides the court) has their hands on every single conversation those 'mobsters' had, so nobody can judge.

They should release them some time now.

Anyway, Inter4, now I know what you felt when Vieri left Inter last year(thought, the admins haven't changed my name yet) Vey bad call for Vieri now he is ended up in Sampdoria.

Berlusconi has nothing to do with this, though he (for being innocent from the 1st time in his life) tries to act as a victim.

Apart from this matter, Berlusconi shouldn't be sent to prison like Borrelli tried. He should just die.

I have to admit you know a lot more about this subject than me, so I'll drop it.

Is it sure they are given Inter the title? That would just be injust...

Uefa is pushing for assigning the title to someone. Sure, Moratti has said the it would be the 'right' thing to do, following the Olimpic example, but they haven't made any official request to the Caf.

Berlusconi can go screw himslef..

I guess it still wouldn't affect the statistic about when Inter last won the title.

Berlusconi gives all the money to Milan so I have to like him. The right thing to do leave it empty but what about the 2004/05 tittle? MAybe we should give them both to Livorno :crazyeye:

I guess it still wouldn't affect the statistic about when Inter last won the title.

When was that by they way?

1989 I believe.

Was mentioned this morning in an article about how 6 out of the 8 top champions league seeded teams didn't win their domestic league and how a number have not won it for quite a long time.

I heard (I think on Sky News Sports, I can't remember) that if Liverpool get through their qualification round, they will one of the seeded teams in the CL this year.

.....and Liverpool have not won the English title since 1989 if IRC

Today they`ll hand the final sentences after the appeal, at the time the Stock Market in Milan closes, not sure at what time that is.

Time to be cynical.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/europe/5215178.stm

I can't help thinking that the clubs already knew that on appeal their punishments would be reduced. There just wasn't enough transfer rumours for the three of them that are now back in serie A. Milan might as well not have been punished considering that Inter can't win anything and their other main rivals have been hindered.

What a crock of ****.

Juve should have been put in C to start off with, and the others in B with a 30 point reduction, so that after the appeals, they would have still have a stiff penalty.

This is a joke.

simply a big LOL
i read in spiegel, that theres a certain possibility for the clubs to appeal at a civil court and get a reduction of the fine again! oh boy, i cant understand this farce.
