1- download file and unzip to (user)\my documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\Maps
2- launch you civ5 - go to mods ( accept )- single player - set up game - click on earth and find "Italy v1" map

This is a seriously nice looking map. Congratulations. One of my favourite historical periods is the fourth century BC when Rome recovered from its sack by Brennus in 390 BC and went on to conquer Italy by about 270 BC, thereby intensely irritating Carthage.

I don't seem, however, to be able to download the map without assigned starting locations.
