It's it possible to add new sound effects?

I extracted all the .wav files, but before I start editing, is it possible to replace sound effects in Civilization V?

you can't add new, just replace existing sound (I have not tried the WAV files, but I'm sure for the MP3 "Dawn Of Man" introduction speeches)

I think those can be replaced, but I need to replace the sound effects.
