ALNITAHIA FOREVER
In breaking news from almost two weeks ago, Glorious Nippon is poised to become the biggest creditor to the United States. Again. Aside from making Governor Mitt Romney look like a foolish fool (will he get "Tough on Tokyo?") this has dark implications for global affairs. We all remember what happened the last time Glorious Nippon was on the march.

Glorious Nippon's hanzo steel grows sharper. Caliph Obama's acquiescence on the issue of Futenma demonstrates his tacit acceptance of the reestablishment of the coming Neo East-Asian Co-Prosperity Sphere III. This outcome is obvious, for as you can see from the esteemed work of Samuel Huntinton [sic], Glorious Nippon and the Mahometan are not in conflict:

Can the noble light of democracy, the PRC, stand, against such a confluence? We can only say for sure: buy gold desu.

Are those bonds covalent?

The honorable samurai and ninjas from Nippon much more honorable than evil communist disobeying parents Chinese. I welcoming Neo East-Asian Co-Prosperity Sphere. :mischief:

On a more serious note, I suppose if Japan ever somehow came into US' politcians radar, as well as the Tea Party, I guess now they have another Yellow Peril to freak out over.

If America goes full-on Bubba maybe we'll get more of those weird buck-tooth Asian caricatures like in WW2.

I can scarcely believe my eyes.

This could hurt Obama politically.

I agree, Romney will have to wag the finger at even more countries. It's such a well-tested solution to economic problems.

You and me missed it in the '70s and '80s. There was alot of handwringing and hysteria that the US was being eclipsed by Japan.

If China was a perfectly functioning democracy, American politicians would find their bogeyman somewhere. You can see evidence of this when Paul Ryan is trying to convince the American people that Russia is our greatest geopolitical "threat" just to lessen the impact of Obama's fairly effective East Asian foreign policy.

Although I wasn't alive back then, as an Asian-American, I have heard of those unfortunate times from the 70s and 80s. I think it culminated in the Vincent Chin case, which was a very much unfortunate result of the inability for some people in America to understand the difference between China and Japan.

Frankly, though, there's gotta be a yellow peril somewhere. Those millions and billions of Oriental hordes with their evil collective(ist) hive mind make a perfect enemy. It's been like that for a while, I guess.

I concur.

I strongly believe this issue is our most pressing.

In an unprecedented turn of events, one nation usurps another at the top of a list of nations that are owed money from another nation.

Some commentators have openly wondered why the US even needs a "top" creditor. If we simply rename the top creditor as the runner up, then there will be no nation that the US owes the most money to.

As such, we could potentially save trillions.

Such an obvious solution is overlooked by the overly practical and rational Obummer "administration", and I use that term loosely, hence why I used the scare quotes and then explained the reasoning behind them.

Romney 2012!

At least since the soviets refused to keep playing. Such unsportsmanship! And the islamic peril was a total failure too, no one's afraid of them after just a few years. :shake:
Those chinese and japanese had better hold! :nono: It's not like the indians or the africans can make proper believable perils anytime soon.

Dear god I hope my grandmother who still thinks we're at war with the "Japs" doesn't hear about this.

My granny thinks Nixon is still President...

If your grandma does hear about this just tell her that the Japanese Imperial Resistance Movement(Democrats/anti-Monarchists) is footing the bill for the American war effort...

that'll make her feel better or confuse the hell out of her...
