Great mod with a lot of work and passion behind it. Thanks a lot for it ! :D

One question though. I'm a bit surprised by the War Theme. It seems to have no cultural link with the civ. Where is it from ?

Thanks. :) I have been sitting on this mod for about 3 years. Originally it was supposed to be for a release for vanilla (under Sandro Pertini as leader), then few months ago I decided to redesign it for VP and finish the job.
One question though. I'm a bit surprised by the War Theme. It seems to have no cultural link with the civ. Where is it from ?
I took it from here:

Finding music was not easy.
I checked if I could find something fitting by Ennio Morricone but nothing seemed to fit.
I also checked other music but it happened 3 years ago so I don't remember.

If you don't like maybe I can switch with this one by Verdi:

Great mod, thanks for all your hard work.
Only problem I have is, the peace theme doesn't work, when starting the game it immediately defaults to the generic music.

The music is correctly coded so I have no idea why you are having problems. 🤔

I had the same issue with Tibet and the Etruscans, but not any other custom civ...
It's not even a matter of clearing the cache because those two mods still kept that problem.
I was thinking maybe is the music file, but is still an mp3.
I guess I will just keep it as is.

Love the flavour thanks !

I have 2 technical issues, first one is minor and same music problem as above.
Second one is a bit more annoying in that the GWArch don't proc on GPTI, I've tried on two different games with different GP. Never had a pop-up nor does the building show in city view after it should. Wierd thing is that I tested after that with IGE manual GP spawn and it does work. Any idea of why this could happen ?

Very big and beautiful work. Thanks for this mod.

If I can, I vote for Verdi for War Theme ;). Like Bysonte, the peace Theme doesn't start form me.
I'll replace also the Peace theme to see if it works because code-wise I see no problems. :\

The GWA part of the UA uses this lua function PlayerBuilt that is a VP dll addition that has to be manually enabled using
Code:
UPDATE CustomModOptions    SET Value = 1 WHERE Name = 'EVENTS_PLOT';
It is obviously enabled in the Italy mod and I have no problem when playing with just the mod and VP enabled as well as playing with a tons of VP-compatible mods.

Oh do I have to enable events in the game setup ?

Update online.
Changed Peace and War theme (details).

Buonasera compatriota, e complimenti come sempre per l'ottimo lavoro! 😁
Grazie.

Oh do I have to enable events in the game setup ?
Nope. Both are called events but they are totally different things.
The one enabled by VP basically checks whenever an improvement is built and provides a series of information like player and the unit who did it, the improvement type, the plot coordinates, etc.
Then a modder can add a custom function that retrieves this information to trigger other effects, like whenever a player that is Italy civ constructs a great person improvement then gift the GWA building.
Those game events were provided by Firaxis for modding purposes then WHoward and Gazebo edited the game dll to add new ones (like the PlayerBuilt event).
The events in game setup are a different game feature added by VP dll.

Try deleting the cache folder in Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5 and restart.

Ok, so it is time to conquer that Venezia and Amalfi ;-)

Great mod! Thanks!

I cannot find the italian leader in the leader selection menu though I have already launched this mod. What' s the problem? Here is my mod list.

Try delete the cache folder and retry.
I enabled the same mods but the leader is there so it's not a problem on the mod end.
