Milan's also got two incredible Decisions. That "buy Liberty" one in particular is so sweet to use.

Just finished a game with Milan. I did go full Commerce on the Policies, and diplomatic victories. By the end of the game I was buying workers for 60 gold :D It was quite a fun mod to play, and I think a perfect example of how E&D really makes a Civ complete. The mercenaries and the republic were the funniest part, and I also got the Machiavelli event, so I felt it was all very flavourful :)

Something has been puzzling me for a while now and I'm not sure the answer is in the main posts, so here: why are Lithuania, the Papal States and Holy Rome not part of any civ pack?

Hannibal updated and added to the Alt Leaders pack:

    • Added P&P, CulDiv, Map Labels, Unique Cultural Influence, Events, and Civ IV Traits support
    • Consult the Tribunal decision now costs 1 Magistrate and some culture
    • Slightly reduced the gold cost of the Suffetes decision
    • The UA now gives a flat Production bonus equal to 15% (round up) of the garrisoned unit's combat strength. This should make the UA actually applicable during Carthage's height :p
    • Misc code tidying
    • Shophet heal bonus now correctly only applies to units on the same tile or adjacent

I've also fixed a couple of errors with Polad-Lithuania and Denmark-Norway.

They're not fully up to date, and originally the first post was too full to fit everything. I've been trimming the info displayed, and now it should fit them, once I consider them as up to date as the rest.

    Alright, thanks for the clarification.

I really like your alternate Dido trait, by the way. She's one of my favorite leader to play as!

Looking at the Ribault again made me wonder, why the Belgian Gatling Gun replacement is the Chasseur and not the Mitrailleuse which is an actual Belgian invention?

Perhaps with Lincoln's 2nd UA not working, it might make sense to make it something else? Railroads were a big part of Lincoln's government, you could increase the production bonus on cities connected to the capitol via railroads. Or make it a gold, or food bonus.

I was about to suggest an UA idea that would fit much more to the entire "Phoenician heritage" thing:
Naval trade routes to city states produce 3 influence per turn(each declaration of friendship increases that by 1, to a maximum of 8). Only 25 influence is required to befriend city state, and only 50 to become it's ally. May see and improve the unique shellfish luxury resource.

Well Carthage reached its hight due to monopoly on the Mediterranean's with its impressive navy.

UA: for every trade route 2 naval units are maintenance free, if Carthage owns the largest navy all of the discovered civilisations' naval trade routes pay tribute to Carthage.

Hey JFD, just wondering if you're planning to update some of your civilizations like the France split to be compatible Events & Decisions as well as your very own Cultural Diversity. If so, is there a schedule on which you plan to update them?

We'll need another UA then. Maybe... Pax Carthage?

BTW, Everyone: Its Civilizations, not civilisations.

I'm fairly certain that it's civilisation(s) in Canada, Australia and Britain at least.

Mr. Stamos is correct. British English is a different thing than American English.

Too true. The difference is that British English is correct. :p It annoys me to no end that when you're coding, you have to spell stuff in American English. Many mistakes have been made this way.

Aw, go on. That was the one thing Firaxis did sensibly! There is no "British English" or "American English" dialect, there is "English" and "American", which are two different languages. Firaxis is American, therefore they write in their own language.

You're mistaken. Firaxis has its own "Firaxian" language, where the English/American words "Renassaince" and "Medieval" are spelled "Renissance" and "Medieval," and the word "Colesseum" means "what a colosseum looks like," and the word for "East India Company" is surprisingly spelled "National Treasury."
