Pretty sure it's a CP thing, unfortunately. I reckon that is the only thing that does require the CP, however.

W.Howard recently added such a max hit points changing system for specific units to VMC, and I'm assuming Gazebo rolled that into CP. Not that it really matters much which was the egg and which the chicken as regards who wrote what for DLL mods first.

I can certainly understand JFD wanting to spend less time bending lua to his will and more time badgering Jan for Art designing civs or gameplay mechanics.

Nope, here is a list of the things that require the CP:
    • Variable Max Hit Points.
    • Ability to construct the Triumphal Arch anywhere.
    • Great General Points yielded by the TA.
    • HasTrait check, allowing Unique Randomized Component support.
    • Variable Trade Route Religious Pressure, for the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
    • Automatic support for State Religions.
    • Support for majority religions when the above fails, instead of only the majority religion in the Capital.
    • Sensible naming conventions (none of this "is has building" Trubbish).

    2. Cyrus disagrees with you...
    3. How does Prussia do it then? Or is it different when regarding Specialists?
    4. Seceded
    5. Is that one of the decisions?
    6. Seceded
    7. Seceded
    8. Definitely seceded

A specialist can be tied to any unitclass (Leugi's Peru created an Archeologist specialist, for instance).

Here is a list of things from the mod that require the CP then.

While some things may be possible without the CP, they are infinitely easier to acccomplish with - for instance, Great General Points (which are a yield in CP - without this, I'd have to use Lua, as I didn't want the points to be city-based) and building a Courthouse anywhere (a simple tag, as CBP's Satrap does this).

Church of Holy Sepulchre is one of the Decisions, yes.

Although, one of the Decisions grants an Apotecary in all cities - as far as I know, those don't exist in Civ 5 base game.

You get a food boost in all cities if you enact the decision without CID installed.

#2 is actually really easy without the CP, just look at the Pillar of Ashoka. Still, if other things require it you might as well go the whole way :p

You mean from the India Pack? The one that breaks everything? :p

I'm excited to see how the CP will improve Civs when we go through the inevitable and anticipated round of Civ updates.

I don't have the disc at hand, unfortunately, so instead I'll have to re-enact it from memory :(

Fetch me a coffee, Baldrick, and try to make it taste less like mud this time.

    Spoiler :
    TL;DR: In Plain Terms
Civ-wise, my plans are to hopefully finish all the remaining on my to do list (in order of priority): Constantine, Innocent III, Margarethe I, WW1 (Teddy, Clemenceau, George V, VE III), the Balkans (Wallachia, Bosnia, Serbia, Bulgaria), Hannover, County Palatinate, Alexander VI, Afghanistan, [REDACTED], George III, Philip II, Burgundy, China (Cixi, Han Wudi, Yongle), Ireland, Genoa, the Rus’, Franco, Chiang Kai Shek, and Leopold II

Soo Bhutan becomes his old redacted position. :p

    Hm.

    New to do List:

    1) Innocent III, Margarethe I, Teddy Roosevelt, Harry Nixon, George V, Victor Emmanul III.
    2) Philip II, Wallachia, Bosnia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Burgundy.
    3) Hannover, Alexander VI, Cixi, Lili, Afghanistan, Bhutan.
    4) Leopold II, George III, Ireland, Yongle.

The rest are meh. But, ya know, we'll see how things pan out. They're not all definite, anyway - some are just wishful thinking.
