JFD and Janboruta's Civilisations

I have been trying for ages to get any JFD modded civ into my game but no matter what I do they will not appear in the leader select screen.

I've had this problem for a while and never found a fix. I can't select any JFD mods from leader select screen. I've tried using Really Advanced Setup and still have the same issue.

I just built a new machine and put a completely fresh install on it, and still have the same issue.

MODS download correctly via steam but the leaders aren't there. If I manually download them I have the same issue.

I am able to select all the MODS on the first screen, it appears that they are loaded ok but then I can't select the leaders.

If it makes a difference, a Celts replacement that I found does remove The Celts from the game (as it should) but it doesn't add the replacement civs. I feel this must be a relatively simple issue as it's so specific and I've found a fair few people with this issue. The problem is, there doesn't appear to be a fix.

List of installed mods and your logs?

So I only have a few mods installed, although I had the same issue when I just added any JFD civilisation on my fresh install.

NQMod V11
Really Advanced Setup
Remove Barbarian XP limit
Info Addict

Plus HB Map Pack v4.

Everytime I try and paste in the 3 logs suggested, I'm getting over 150,000 character limit.

Attach the logs in a zip or smth, the issue is impossible to resolve without them.

Oyea also Jifford's released loads of stuff on steam go check it out idk thread posts etc

Thank you to anyone who can look at this and let me know if they can see anything!

I thought JFD had a blog post somewhere that was about him working on mods and I can't seem to find it. Just curious as to what upcoming civilization mods are in the works. The Civ V Customization Wiki still lists the same Civs from before.

Well you've got a lot of errors relating to DLC artdefines, and various database errors pertaining to NQMod presumably, but none relating to Prussia. Unless NQMod explicitly deletes all modded Civilizations for some reason I don't see any reason why there'd be an issue, so I can only suggest trying without NQMod and seeing if issues persist.

Updated some but I don't really use that wiki myself. There's too many to list :p

people who loves JFD's mods tracks mods development regularly. They do not need so called wiki sort of thing in 2019 to be honest. Let people find modded civs from JFD's database and help themselves out.

I believe you are not referring to the Wiki. If I understand you correctly, what you are referring to has not been updated in many years.

Wow, that's cool. Thanks.

Yeah, I said it was a blog post somewhere and haven't been able to find it and it's not linked. If that's the case that it's outdated then I probably shoulda figured since it wasn't linked anywhere.

Hi, when Great Jin was enabled, every time I completed a wall, my units got 25 heal points ans 5 experiences even though I played as Sui.

Hey lads, if you're interested in helping JFDLC develop, please feel free to join this Discord server. I'll set up a JFDLC thread at some point in the future, so am putting a note here and on my civ thread for the time being :p

Is this the same one from before? I asked because when I tried logging in I got this message. 'Welcome back! Beep, boop. Beep, boop?'

Hi JFD, I got some issues when I played as Great Ming.

First, I did not get an extra spy when I met 50% city-states. I only got one spy when I met 100% city-states.

Second, my specialists did not generate 2 extra great person points when I put a spy in the city.

Hi JFD,

first, I would like to thank you for your great modding work, adding so many new civilizations to the game with lots of interesting new features.

Recently, I tried Julius Ceasars Rome and I liked it very much.
But I noticed, that anytime a new game is started or a savegame is loaded, he receives a free social policy. I used the latest Version of the Mod which is currently available on Steam (downloaded 24th January).

I can´t believe this exploit is a wanted feature. Most Probably a side affect of the "civilization_freepolicies" trait you have created to apply the babarian combat bonus to Julius. (a very nice feature btw)
But I don´t know how to troubleshoot the .sql GameDefines file, to remove that exploit.

At first, I thought the issue could have been created by a collision with another mod I am using, but I tested it playing only with JFD´s Rome(Julius Caesar) activated and the free social policy exploit happened as well.

Maybe you can have a look into it?

Looks like the google drive and steam version of the mod are identically. Nevertheless, I just made a testrun with the google version and had the same issue with Julius getting a free social policy right from the beginning and additionally whenever a savegame is loaded.

For the tests, I did not activated any other mod but JFDs Rome under Julius Ceasar.
No JFDLC.

Is any other one having the same issue playing with Julius?
