I think that prophets being able to produce relics (as well as the monk specialists allowing you to pump out prophets quickly) makes up for that.

It makes up for it, sure - but I went into that game wanting to use the Sacred Sites strat, but then found out that it wasn't viable. I was just checking if it was intentional, since it's never been mentioned before.
 
Getting a game freeze at end of turn. Using all of your mods with EE, E&D, Historical Religions, Ethnic units and More Luxuries and Pantheons.

An actual freeze? Or do you mean a CTD?

Both Shamanism and Religious Law give bonuses to Monk specialists, and give Piety on Great Prophet birth.

That's intentional. Only affecting Doctors would be pretty weak.

Byzantine bonus belief doesn't allow the choosing of a faith building belief - intentional? It pretty much ruins the Sacred Sites strat, which is annoying.

Not intentional, but I'm not sure that its something I can fix.
 
A freeze. I hear the windows 10 ding, then the game won't respond so I have to end task out of it. Before it froze I did hear a religion song play but with no notification showing up as the turn was processing.
 
I don't know if this has been mentioned but Khazaria does not seem to be compatible with the latest versions of Piety and causes a crash with no errors (my assumption is when an event or decision is triggered). Deleting the Lua files will let you continue your saved game but Khazaria's functionality is lost obviously.

It does seem a shame that you can only get 1 type of Religous building, when there are so many things that buff them (Cologne Cathederal, Wat... Bin... Keru? (The EE science one), Sacred Sites). Maybe have some more wonders give them for free?

I also noticed religious music appear at random times, and I also had an unexplained Not Responding crash. Can't remember if they were linked, but logs didn't say anything so I forgot about it.
 
Are great prophets no longer able to spread religion? PLaying as Arabia, I was unable to spread my religion with a great prophet that was faith bought in Medieval era. Any thoughts?

Did the target city have an Inquisitor inside?
 
Ah hell, I figured it out. The player I was trying to spread to was Spain, whose UA prevents religion from spreading to their cities. I'm an idiot. My apologies.

Well, that I guess not. That was maintained when GDs/GMs still affected the Great People counters of other GPs, thereby making them weaker (so Dignitary and Magistrate specialists alone were a bit weak). But I think it's safe to switch it just them now.

Hm, good point. It's been like this for a while, though. I'll think.
 
JFD, can all of your mods (as in the gameplay changing ones) be used at the same time? I'm getting constant crashes when I try to initiate a game with the three of them, though I'm unable to determine whether this is related to a technical issue or to my computer...
 
Oh. Yeah. But CulDiv doesn't change gameplay that much, when compared to the mechanics added by CiD or RtP.

You are using CulDiv, right? It is required for RTP.

Otherwise, are you using the latest CP beta?

Fail that, logs might throw something.
 
I'm also getting the freeze at random points during ai turn. Restarting game solves them for about 100 turns. Also using Khazaria, so it might have something to do with it. Also running with CBP.
 
How do I play with Sovereignty? I see the features of it in the wiki and it is being refered to ingame, though I can't actually use any of its features.

In the config SQL there is an option to enable it, but it says "DO NOT ENABLE OR *Evil being* WILL COME AND GET YOU".

I have tried just CBP, CulDiv and RTP one game. Right now I'm playing with CBP, CulDiv, RTP, CID, ExCE.
 
I loaded a yesterday's savegame and I couldn't give Piety to CS who followed my Religion. I mean, I gave 100, popup asked me am I sure, I clicked "Yes" and then this screen with how much Piety I'd like to give merged with CS screen. I closed and tried again, and again, and I didn't get any alliance points, but I've lost all my Piety points. After 3rd or 4th time, when I wanted to close CS screen, I got CTD.

I, ah, have a problem. Regarding your good 'ol pal, EUI.

The top right never displays any of the small buttons. In fact, most of EUI's features, with the exception of the tooltip, are not working.

Might be forgetting one there, but that includes the ones that matter.

I've deleted the appropriate files from CP, have the most recent version of EUI (double checked with your links to EUI). I have no idea why this is happening.

It honestly doesn't look like the EUI files loaded properly for either CID or RtP. Nothing I can or will do; you'll have fight with load order and caching until it works, or, better yet, drop EUI.
