Socialist Monarchy?! What is this Witchcraft of which you speak?

I think I read an article arguing along those lines, trying to argue for the Incan Empire as the World's first 'Socialist State' obviously there was a lot of exaggeration going on, but an interesting topic nevertheless.

Wouldn't it make sense to give 'The Celts' as lead by Boudicca the Roman Currency anyways, given that her tribe were from a Roman Dominated part of the isles?

That's how crazy their society was. If you want to be even more exaggerated, you could call it socialist feudalism.

Well, it appears this mod interferes with the unique way that the Hyperdimension Neptunia civilizations made by vice virtuoso work,

The Shares system works fine, but within follower beliefs, the basilicom option, intrisic to the way the civs work, doesn't appear.

Loving the look of those reforms! I'm not sure if you'd rather steer clear of it for obvious reasons, but any chance we could have an "interrogation" reform that has international diplo penalties or bonuses for how you treat POWs? (Maybe interacting with CBPs negative modifier for stealing civilian units?)

And I'm hoping there's an immigration reform tucked away in there somewhere-you could argue that accepting migrants/refugees is a military matter, but I'm betting its in social somewhere.

Last idea-could there be a funding option for rocket funding that reduces the cost for missiles and spaceship parts? Or would that overlap too much with land funding?

Still loving this. Checking in every day to see a new screen. Are there any spy-related reforms?

@JFD

Hey there JFD, I'm back!!

I've got a quick question for you here, I'm still playing with the Rise To Power V21 ( I think, as in same one I said I'm using in my earlier post a couple days ago) and CiD V41 I think, now I've founded a religion and have converted many city states and than they picked my religion as their state religion, so later in game I met a civ with its own religion and even though the city states have NO followers of that religion, as in 0 they have changed their state religion to it, just like that, my religion has the majoirty in the city but they still pick other religions, it has been going on for some time and slowly all city states changed their state religion to one that has 0 followers in their city.

What is the reason this is happening and what can I do to keep them going with my state religion?

P.S. I just wanna add how much your mods have changed Civ 5 for me from a game I use to rate 8.5/10 to a close 9.5 if not a 10!

I was kinda hoping one of the reforms would be meritocratic vs. nobility for military officers, but these look noice.

Hey, quick question there m8, who is the leader you have picked for Israel? ;)

David ben Gurion. Please follow the link in my signature to check out/discuss all of our plans

That's a few reports about this now. I'll have to check it out, as it doesn't seem like intended behaviour.

Maybe, though that would go in the Foreign category, and I may already have all 9 sets planned. Will keep it in mind.

Yes, Migration will be a part of the Foreign category of reforms.

I only have 9 sets of Reforms per Category, so rocket funding seems a bit wateful.

I'll take a look, and probably make an exception.

Looks awesome!
Is this being developed or is it already in the current update (if so, how do I see the gov menu? it looks so cool!)

Really cool stuff!

In development.

Still loving this. Checking in every day to see a new screen. Are there any spy-related reforms?

Yes, one in the Foreign category.

v23:
  • Fixed an issue wherein the Summer Palace could not be constructed.
  • Added the notification icon dds', in the hopes to avoid the texture errors some people are getting.
  • Added unique construction sounds for: Chancery, Court of Chancery, High Court, Magistrate's Court, and Supreme Court. Big thanks to Kesler for these!
  • Added an exception for ViceVirtuoso's Neptunia belief (let me know if not!).
  • Added missing support for CBP viz. the Great Magistrate and Great Dignitary.
  • Updated Pottery help text to reflect the tech change to the Shrine.
  • Could not re-create any issue with Spies and Claims. Anyone else have trouble getting the 'Active Spy' cause to activate? The issue might be more specific. However, I have switched the method of checking if there is a Spy in the city, so this may fix the issue.
  • Fixed an issue wherein Piety could be generated from constructing Buildings and Wonders.
  • Fixed an issue wherein you would lose Piety everytime a civilization secularized, even when that civilization did not follow your state religion.
  • Fixed an issue wherein the Monastery required the Reformation belief with CBP. Also fixed text issues with CBP, when using CID: Health and/or ExCE.

Couldn't re-create any issue with City-States adopting a religion with no followers as their State Religion, so next time this happens, please report it with the percentage chance that it says in the State Religions screen and the specific religion.

EUI Comp. Files.

So that will be it for my working on Sovereignty and Prosperity for now. I have two essays due on the 13th (Buddhism and Orientalism in the Simpsons) and 15th (how to prioritze one human right when two or more conflict), respectively, so I don't want to be distracted. During this time, I'll focus, modding-wise, on light, bugfixing updates to CID, ExCE, CulDiv (not sure it needs it, though), updating George V, Constantine, and Mussolini to not require the CP, and working with Jan to install Philip II into Spain, Philip III into Burgundy, and [REDACTED][CLASSIFIED][REMOVED] into The [WITHDRAWN] of [CENSORED] [TOP-SECRET]. Should get a bit of a breather after those dates to finish off the religious and and foreign reforms, however, and then return to work on Prosperity. Also will be working on Bhutan, but I'll be making them according to my personal tastes, given they're a personal favourite, so they'll take a bit more time to complete.

Best of luck with your assignments, and thanks for the update - looking forward to the vanquishing of that missing texture issue :p

*Grumbles something about the wrong thread again*

Oh, and whats this? More redacted civs?

Thanks. Wrong thread though :p Did you try to open the city view again? There doesn't seem to be any errors this time.

*Grumbles something about just having realised this, and being in the process of posting it in the correct thread*

Yeah, I opened the city view - in the two cities that required me to select production for them to progress the turn. I take it the log isn't helping much? ;_;
