Is there any way to edit this so that I can actually drop troops somewhere like the helicopter from civ 3? I can't really think of a way to do that with xml, how would you use this ingame?

Ju-52 could be used as a bomber. I think it was originally a bomber. Most transports are also bomber aircraft...

At least in WW2 this lines up. Not so the modern day with more purpose built aircraft....

I asked mechaerik to make this unit for my WW2 mod. It isn't really intended for modern day use.
