I experienced a new event today, when Julius Caesar started two separate wars on back-to-back turns! He joins the ranks of Montezuma and Genghis Khan, other leaders known to fight multiple wars. In this circumstance, JC was plotting on his northern neighbor Pericles. While plotting, I refused JC's demand of 460 gold, which I'm guessing made him start plotting on me as well. The turn after he declared on Pericles, he declared on me, and then Ramsesses called an AP vote to stop the war against me, which easily passed.

Refused demands are special (i dunno about the code..just from experience).
Even when no red fist appears, sometimes a DoW comes in out of the blue later.
Did see that happening without any troops crossing my borders as well.
