Jungle/Forest Display Problems

Hi,

The problem I'm having is that with my GeForce MX 4000 video card, the jungles and forests appear to be sunken into the ground. It's as if they start below the ground texture and come up through it, making it so they are barely visible on hills and strange-looking elsewhere.

I don't have screenshots at this time but i'll try to put some up if needed. (And if someone explains hows)

Is there some way I can edit the textures or fix my graphics card? I have the latest nVidia drivers.

Thanks

I'd like to report that my girlfriends laptop suffers this same problem. Other than this minor rendering problem, the game runs smoothly for her. Is this a known issue?

If it isn't, it is now. You mean it looks like this, http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=160403. Seems a very odd problem, is the DirectX fully up to date? Perhaps the next patch might correct it but I doubt it. Should post in it in the 'Bug reports' too as it is likely to be problem with the code somewhere.

Zanmato,
Exactly...You'll notice I posted in that same thread! DirectX is up-to-date and it was a clean install with patch. The game runs really smooth with no lag at all (I guess there are worse things to complain about!). But just this issues with "sunken trees". I've seen 1-2 other people with the same issue with no resolution.
