Hello there. Im not very good in english so excuse any mistake in the message.

Im a FAN of FFH2 for six months now and i have to say this is one of the most wonderful game Ii have ever played (MOD is just wrong, this is a full game). You are guilty of so many sleepless nights, so many joy and fun I have no word for all my gratitude. I have played virtually every game in existance since the C64, my work is even related to videogames since 10 years now, and FFH2 is just perfect in every sense of the word and... it's not even complete yet!

Look, just one more thing: I really love you guys. You have created one of the best games ever and you dont even want a penny for it! If I were younger, the FFH2 team would be my role model (but its too late now, 30 years and counting XD).

Once again, thanks.

also adding my thanks :) great work guys, and as usual major update delivered for the christmas season :)

Aurore

I completely agree with Aurore and Ferzzola this really is the best mod i have ever played and I'd like to thank the entire Ffh team for all the hard work and dedication:)

I agree! As someone who has worked on a mod team for another game I know just how hard it is to keep a team together and motivated for multiple years. FfH2 has a level of quality that surpasses many commercial games. I salute Kael and the entire mod team for their outstanding work making such a great game!

Me too. I never have play a better Mod for Civ4. For X-mas i wish that you will do the same Mod for Civ5...:D

Awww im doing a come back to this wonderfull game for holiday. Since its the only time of year i have enough time to get in this really deeply and enjoy it rightfully. And just when i come back, a new update, scenario and such. I add my voice to the others and speak for the silent ones by saying thanks and merry xmas.

FfH = Best Game Ever Stop

Fall from Heaven = the money you paid for the game did not go to waste.

There's going to be a version for Colonization, right? Could use that twenty quid back...

I've been toying with using that to create "Khazad Fortress" (Col meets Dwarf Fortress meets Fall from Heaven), but haven't really looked too deeply into it. All the elements are there though - both games are primarily commerce driven and rely on moving various types of resource around between stores and workshops...

Would need some fairly heavy work though and I'd probably approach it a little differently to how I did Fall Further (like, designing it or something...)

Heh, add my thanks to the list as well.

Honestly, I think Colonization has a lot of potential for a fantasy mod in there, especially with its resource system... Why limit outfitting soldiers with muskets or horses when you could give them: Bows; Halberds; Swords; Shields; Magic wands/staves; Scythes (Can also be used for farming, ne?), Axes, Katars... and the list goes on.

And I'm sure there has to be some way to make it so that the other resources are consumable as well... Always bugged me that I'd have 300 tons of rum in my warehouse... with no one drinking it...

I have to thank Kael and co for making this awsome mod. Many hours well spent.

That is a thoroughly excellent idea.

And on-topic: You guys' mod is the reason I sprang for Beyond the Sword. Thanks for all the hard work.

@ Alzara: seconded. :)

Congratulations to finishing the beta of the mod and getting the game released and a merry cristmas to everyone involved. :)

And big thanks for delivering us one of our favorite pastimes. :)

I'm curious as to how many people bought Civ to play this, or just BTS to play this.

A huge thanks to the artists I shamelessly cut tiny pieces of art from to make all of the icons and graphics used in this mod. Justin Sweet, Brom, Don Maitz, Keith Parkinson, etc etc are all amazing and contributed (unknowingly) not only the amazing art, but inspiration for a fantasy world through their work. Several icons are used from the GuildWars game for their clear evocative style.

Some of the songs heard in this mod are from the Eclipse Mod for Half-life 2 and Arcanum. Additionally there are small cuts (5-30 seconds) of songs from Enya and Cirque du Soleil throughout the mod.

Well, jprc, thanks. But I dont understand people who complaint over the hard work of a group of filantropics devs. The MOD is excellent and im enjoying the scenarios like a child with new toy (it`s 5AM here). So, complaint? Never! Im not only deeply thankful for all the work the team put into FFH2, also im a great fan. And even more after reading almost every thread of the forum and the support they give to players. But when I read "we dont want money, donate to people in need" was almost love XD
