I am absolutely smitten with this game. I've been a die hard civ fan since Civ 2 hit the shelves, and Civ 5 is by far, to me, the best thing since sliced bread. Can't stress enough how much I like this game. Kudos to the developers and everyone at Firaxis

I'm also a long time lurker, and I wanted to put my two cents out there. A lot of negativity and open hostility that makes no sense to me at all.

I agree wholeheartedly. I really like this game and other than people who can't get it to run, I can't figure out what the fuss is all about. Then, when I think of how this game will evolve when DLC/expansions come out and the modders start spinning their magic.... Awesome.
