Well, it looks a bit like carnival dressing. Could you leave the jaguar from head up, but make the rest more ... whatever, but not yellow-and-dots (maybe no clothes? oh, I mean not completly.. but you know ;) )

No, seriously, it's even conservative by some standards -- go here and poke around ;).

Dom Pedro II, would you give me a reason why you don't want to pair the macuahuitl with musket, please?

I like the one who has that big headdress that looks like Darth Vader's helmet in rainbow colors...

Don't you mean, Space Balls's Dark Helmet's helmet?

Bingo! :D

You know, looking at these pics, I think that the Inca deserve more MP than Jaguar Warriors... I mean, the Aztecs had to carry everything with manpower. In fact, 1/3 of their army on any expedition would be people to carry the items of the warriors. The Inca had pack animals.

 don't worry I'm calmed down now ;)

Anyways, in answer to your questions:

1) The nature of the steed probably shouldn't matter, however it brings up the concern of what resource to use, ya know? Does it make sense to have an elephant rider require an ivory resource, or should the two be different units?

2) Well noble warrior might be good, but the thing is that it doesn't conjure defined stats, because different cultures all had different version of noble warriors, both foot and mounted.

hmm. I didn't realize that the jaguar warrior had such an intersting suit. reminds me of my youth when I used to read . . .

That's a great book!

And I don't want to pair the macuahuitl and the musket because the macuahuitl is a large weapon that goes above and beyond decorative...

Hmm. I should stress here that it was always totally cool with me if you didn't include the macauhuitl.

The reason I even brought it up was because I was wondering how a modernized (according to alternate history) one should look like. And I began thinking about the first playstation game I bought almost a decade ago.

This modern one would be made of steel and would have a wide blade; yet, it would be surprisingly light. It would be slung over the shoulder, under the gun when the gun is also slung.

It would look something like what's in this image, except it wouldn't be as large.:;)

Very similar BTW to the Polynesians who IIRC used sharks' teeth instead of obsidian.

HAHAHA. Well, of course you are right. :D

But I have been babysitting my neighbor's kid for the last couple of hours and he's clever for his age and he thinks that you are going to make pajama-wearing grown men who fight with big guns. For some reason, he thinks that that is one "silly" (not exactly the word he chose) idea. So I told him about the macuahuitl, which I've seen in a poster for a museum, because I wanted to explain what a cool concept the weapon was (and by association, how cool their wielders were since I knew little about them to defend them well). But when the pics of jaguars began to post, he decided that it was just a glorified spanking tool. So I suggested to him that when the aztecs began to modernize, they traded in their "glorified spanking tool" for a "glorified butcher's cleaver," like the one in the pic I posted. After I showed him the ff7 image, he got a little more interested in your project - just a little bit more. Go figure. :crazyeye:

But it's all good.

Whatever you do, Dom Pedro II, take care and happy modding.

Unfortunately, as I said before, I can't really do a jaguar warrior because I don't have a costume nor am I skilled enough with other 3D modeling programs to make one. Poser is kind of like an assembly plant, but you have to already have the parts.

BUUTT, I can always try....
