Keep sounds playing while tabbed out

I play multiplayer and like to tab out to do other things while waiting for the turn of other players to end, problem of that is the game goes completely mute and the only way to know whether it's finally my turn again or not is to keep tabbing back to the game. From google the only thing i found was people asking for the opposite. I understand the reasoning to mute while tabbed out but would anyone here know a way to revert that "fix"?

Not exactly what you are asking for, but could work for you. Play in the windowed mode instead of full screen and keep the window of the whatever other app you are using resized so that you can see the bottom indicator showing whose turn is being processed.
